My Thanksgiving Week!

My Thanksgiving week was great! We had a whole week off school instead of the usual 2 days! That was great because we had more time to rest and spend with the family getting things ready for Thanksgiving. It was also great because I had the whole week off work also which made it even better.
During the week, my little cousin's and my grandmother's birthday came. My little cousin's birthday was on the 22nd and my grandma's on the 23rd. We took my little cousin to eat some breakfast but we didn't do much after that since she had to leave to her dad's house. The next day, we just gathered at home and gave my grandma a yummy chocolate cake!! Thanksgiving day arrived and it wasn't what i expected it to be. I expected the whole small family to spend it together but it didn't turn out that way. My aunt and 2 little cousins left to Vegas to spend Thanksgiving with her sister. My other cousin had invited us over to spend some time with them. We had planned to go with my mom and little brother but it turned out that my mom didn't feel like going so it just ended up being me and my grandma visiting the cousins. But after all I had a great time with my cousins. We ate a lot!! I was kind of disappointed in our family because it was a time to spend time together and instead, everyone took their separate ways.
During the break, the Lakers played 4 games and lost 2. The lost on Friday after Thanksgiving to the Utah Jazz and on Sunday to the Indiana Pacers. Unfortunately I only got to see the Friday game. =(
On Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to the cementary to visit my uncle's tomb. It was sad to go and see my grandma remember her son. On Sunday I had to work and I spend the rest of the day at home finishing some homework for my English class.
I think my Thanksgiving week was pretty good after all. I had some time to just stay home and read a book. The thing I really loved about my week was that I got to eat a lot of PUMPKIN PIEEE!!!!!
