Our attitude toward life determines life’s attitude toward us.”
-- John N. Mitchell  1815-1875

The attitude that we have towards the things we do is what determines the results.  If we have a bad attitude toward something, then it won't turn out well.  We shouldn't expect good things to come when we are so negative about it.  Having good attitude can even make things fun for us!  If we show good attitude about life then life shall be good to us back.  We make our own ways of  life and the attitude we choose to have towards life.  Having a good attitude towards life will make your life easier and much more enjoyable than if you have a bad attitude.  LIfe has the same exact attitude on you as you have towards life.  Choose the Right and always keep in mind that your attitude is what differs for you being good to being GREAT!! =D

SPORTSMANSHIP!!

Sportsmanship is what helps win the games and be even more successful. Having good sportsmanship allows you to get things done faster and with the help of other. Sportsmanship can help you learn even more than what you know.  For example, you can learn from others who may know some things that you don't. It can help you get better at what you do. This also lets you teach the others what you know that they may not and help them get better as well. Sportsmanship helps everyone succeed.

A great example of good Sportsmanship was shown yesterday when the Los Angeles Lakers worked together to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers.  At a point they were loosing and it seemed that the game was lost for the Lakers but sportsmanship is what helped them win.  They didn't give up even with 3 seconds on the clock.  The Lakers put their trust in Derek Fisher those last 3 seconds and made an excellent play that won the game 87-86 LAKERS right at the buzzer!  The Clippers also showed great sportsmanship bringing the game that close

I believe that Sportsmanship is very important in many things.  It is very useful and a big part in sports, work, school, and other things that involve working with others.  Have good sportsmanship with a great attitude and you along with everyone els will succeed!! =D

"Good Sportsmanship leads THE TEAM to success."

x-box 360!!

There has been a lot of competition between xbox 360 and ps3. Many think that the PS3 is better because the PS3 has free online and blue-ray. Truth is both systems are pretty much the same and well, since the PS3 is newer than the xbox 360 of course its going to be a little more advance. With the xbox 360 you can connect it to a pc and do a lot of cool things with it since the xbox was made by microsoft. So both systems have really cools things you can do.

My Thanksgiving Week!

My Thanksgiving week was great! We had a whole week off school instead of the usual 2 days! That was great because we had more time to rest and spend with the family getting things ready for Thanksgiving. It was also great because I had the whole week off work also which made it even better.
During the week, my little cousin's and my grandmother's birthday came. My little cousin's birthday was on the 22nd and my grandma's on the 23rd. We took my little cousin to eat some breakfast but we didn't do much after that since she had to leave to her dad's house. The next day, we just gathered at home and gave my grandma a yummy chocolate cake!! Thanksgiving day arrived and it wasn't what i expected it to be. I expected the whole small family to spend it together but it didn't turn out that way. My aunt and 2 little cousins left to Vegas to spend Thanksgiving with her sister. My other cousin had invited us over to spend some time with them. We had planned to go with my mom and little brother but it turned out that my mom didn't feel like going so it just ended up being me and my grandma visiting the cousins. But after all I had a great time with my cousins. We ate a lot!! I was kind of disappointed in our family because it was a time to spend time together and instead, everyone took their separate ways.
During the break, the Lakers played 4 games and lost 2. The lost on Friday after Thanksgiving to the Utah Jazz and on Sunday to the Indiana Pacers. Unfortunately I only got to see the Friday game. =(
On Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to the cementary to visit my uncle's tomb. It was sad to go and see my grandma remember her son. On Sunday I had to work and I spend the rest of the day at home finishing some homework for my English class.
I think my Thanksgiving week was pretty good after all. I had some time to just stay home and read a book. The thing I really loved about my week was that I got to eat a lot of PUMPKIN PIEEE!!!!!

LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a great start with their 8-0 winning streak, the Lakers have lost their first 2 games of this season.  Their first lose was against the Denver Nuggets on November 11, 2010 with the score of 118-112 Denver.  Hoping the come back from their first lose, the Lakers played with the Phoenix Suns Sunday night.  This game didn't go any better.  The Lakers added their 2nd lose of the season with a score of 121-116 Phoenix.  All though they have lost, the loses are very close games.  This is only the begging of the season and everyone has to lose and win.  The Lakers will be playing tomorrow night vs. the Milwaukee Bucks at 5:00 p.m.  Hoping for the best tomorrow night! GO LAKERS!!! =D

Aim at Your Goals!!!

Aiming at your goals is always a good thing to do.  Your goals in life are very important an you should always make sure to aim for them no matter what.  Once you think you aimed good then take the shot and most likely you will make that shot.  Always make sure to try and try when you miss the shot at your goal.  Work hard and be positive to reach your goals and life.  And always CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!!!!!

H.P Break-In!!! =(

Last Friday some people broke into a classroom and stoled some equipment.  They stoled 6 Mac computer and the cameras used for Yearbook!!  All this equipment was worth around 19 thousand dollars!!  From what I have heard around the school, the school still has no idea who did it.

What really sucks is that now we have no cameras for our Yearbook! =(  Students on the campus are trying to raise some money and organize some fundraisers to buy this stuff again so we can have a Yearbook this year.  I really hope those people who stoled the stuff get caught.  This really sucks for us seniors because it's our last year and we may not have a Yearbook for the memories.  I really hope we find a way to have our Yearbook!!

Shaq Wears Green!!

The ex-Laker Shaq has recently signed a contract with the Boston Celtics!! He left the Clevland Cavaliers and signed a 2 year deal with the Celtics. This contract will most likely be his last NBA contract before he retires.

This was very unespected for me because I never thought he would join the Boston Celtics. But I think it will be interesting to see Shaq play with our rivals.

Kobe Bryant's Knew Surgery

Kobe Bryant just had a successful surgery on his right knee last week. He was having problems with his knee but thankfully that didn't stop him from helping the L.A Lakers in winning the 2010 NBA Championship. He will recover and be ready to start training again with the Lakers on September 25 for the new season. Hopefully his knee stays okay and doesn't become a problem this upcoming season. =)

Shannon Brown (#12)

Shannon Brown is a powerful point guard for the L.A, Lakers.  Brown is expected to return to the Lakers but it is still not a set deal.  He became a free agent but said he would like to remain with the Lakers.  He is hoping to sign a multiple year contract. With the rejection of Raja Bell, Shannon seems to be the best option the Lakers have. He will most likely resign with L.A and finish completing the Lakers roster for the upcoming season but it's still not a certain deal.  I really hope he signs back up with the Lakers!!!

Lamar Odam

After playing with Rhode Island and with the Los Angeles Clippers Odom joined the L.A. lakers in 2004.  Lamar (#7) has played a big part in the L.A. Lakers this past season.  At first he wasn't doing so well bur eventually came back and help the team come back in game 7 of the NBA Finals.   Lamar will keep on playing with the Lakers and try to go for his third NBA Championship ring this upcoming season.

Lakers Rejected by Raja Bell

The guard player Raja Bell rejected a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.  He was offered a deal but refused. He was suppose to meet with the Laker Kobe Bryant who was suppose to persuade him to join the team but Bell decided to join the Utah Jazz instead.  The Lakers offered Bell close to $2 million per year while the Jazz offered him a three-year  $10 million deal.  Bell says he rejected the Lakers and joined the Jazz because with his familiarity with the Utah coach.  Now the Lakers will have to look for other available guards.

Derek Fisher Back on the Team

After having a meeting with LeBron James and the Miami Heat and being offered to join the team, Fisher decided to stay with the Lakers. Fisher was loyal to his team and his long friend Kobe Bryant and came back to L.A. to stay.  He said that his stay with the Lakers has to do more with how he works with the team and the chemistry between them than the money.  Fisher's contract with the Lakers is not that good but he still decided to stay and look for his sixth championship with the Lakers.

Jordan Farmar: No longer a Laker

And so Jordan Farmar has now signed a 3-year with the New Jersey Nets.  He was offered a $12 million contract by the Nets after not being offered a qualifying contract by the L.A. Lakers.
